Roasted Sirloin Tip Steak

This sirloin tip roast is a great dinner to spice up the night! It's roasted in the oven for a perfect, tender, and herb-rubbed treat.

Ingredients:

  • JJ Bison Sirloin Tip Roast

  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons dried thyme

  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

  • 2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 2 teaspoons salt

  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 200F.

  2. Mix the seasoning together (thyme, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper) in a bowl.

  3. Pat the roast dry, then thoroughly rub the roast with the seasoning mixture. If the tip is very thick, consider diamond-cutting the roast first before rubbing the herb mixture over the roast.

  4. Heat an oven-safe skillet to high heat and pour in the 3 tablespoons of oil.

  5. Sear the meat on all sides, then transfer it to the oven immediately.

  6. We recommend checking on the bison within 15-30 minutes and every 15 after that to ensure the roast meets your desired doneness.

  7. Serve and enjoy!
