Marinated Hanger Steak

This hanger steak was marinated and slathered in mustard before roasting. It was delicious!!


  • 4 tablespoons Dijon mustard

  • 5 cloves finely diced garlic

  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper

  • 2 teaspoons rosemary

  • 1 teaspoon of sage

  • The juice of 1 lemon (2 tablespoons of lemon juice)

  • 2lbs JJ Bison hanger steaks

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Extra-virgin olive oil


  1. Combine the mustard, garlic, sage, red pepper, rosemary, salt, pepper, and lemon juice in a bowl. Pat the steak dry and drench it in spices.

  2. Put the steaks in a bag for 3-24 hours.

  3. Heat the skillet on high and put olive oil on the pan, then sear the steaks and cook until done.

  4. Enjoy!
