Apple Ranch Steak
I really wanted something sweet today and this recipe delivered! It was a great mix of sweet and savory.
JJ Bison Ranch Steaks
1 red apple
2 teaspoons cinnamon, divided in half.
1 teaspoon oregano
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon lemon
Salt and Pepper to taste
Pat the ranch steaks until dry with a paper towel and season the steaks with salt and pepper.
In a pan, heat the olive oil.
Remove the seeds and thinly slice the apple and season with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
In a bowl, mix the rest of the cinnamon, oregano, and lemon juice.
Sear the steaks on both sides and set them aside, tented with foil.
Turn the pan on low and place your thinly sliced apples.
Remove the apples and arrange them on or under the steak on a plate. Pour the cinnamon mixture on the steaks and enjoy!
