Looking for a way to elevate your steak night? Bison top round is a lean and flavorful cut that's perfect for marinating. This recipe creates a tender and juicy steak bursting with zesty lime and savory Worcestershire flavor. In just a few simple steps, you can have a restaurant-worthy steak on your table. Keep reading to learn how to marinate and cook bison top-round steaks to perfection!



Ingredients:

  • 2 JJ Bison Top Round Steaks

  • .5 cup Lime Juice

  • 4 cloves of Garlic (finely diced)

  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar

  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Directions:

  1. In a plastic bag, marinate the top round steaks with the lime juice, garlic, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce and marinate for 8 - 24 hours.

  2. In a cast iron, add 2 tablespoons olive oil and heat to medium-high heat.

  3. Sear the steak and cook until it reaches around 5 degrees below your desired temperature.

  4. Let the steak rest on a cutting board for 5 - 10 minutes then serve and enjoy!


Rare: 115-120 degrees

Medium Rare: 121-129 degrees

Medium: 130-135 degrees
