Ingredients:
3lbs ground JJ Bison
2 onions, chopped
1 16oz can of peeled tomatoes
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
1 25oz can kidney beans
1 25oz can chili beans
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
4 cups of ketchup
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic
2 teaspoons cilantro
1 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon powdered mustard
**If you like hot chili, add jalapenos
Directions:
In a skillet, fry the ground bison until browned - you shouldn't need oil or anything for this step.
In a crockpot, add the ground bison and additional ingredients.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high heat for 3-4 hours.
Top with grated cheese if desired and enjoy!
