Hawaiian Brisket

I wanted to try something different with my brisket today and make something that would be great on a sandwich bun too, and I think I succeeded! This brisket alone on a Hawaiian bun makes a mouth-watering sandwich that even my skeptical husband loved!



Ingredients:

  • JJ Bison brisket

  • Can of sliced pineapples (juice and all)

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tablespoon onion powder

  • 1 tablespoon turmeric

  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped


Directions:

  1. Combine all the ingredients and place them in a bag - marinate for at least 4 hours (up to 24 hours).

  2. Put the ingredients from the bag in the slow cooker and cook for low for 8 hours or until tender.

  3. Slice and enjoy!
