Classic Brisket Recipe
This classic brisket recipe can be made by anyone who owns an oven and an oven-safe pan. It's not difficult to make or season and tastes juicy and delicious! There are not many ingredients needed for this recipe which makes it my personal go-to when I want a delicious brisket but no time to make it!
1 cup flour
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 tablespoon pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
2 tablespoons olive oil
Pat your JJ Bison brisket down with a paper towel.
Mix the flour, salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder in a bowl.
Pat on the mixture onto your bison brisket until completely covered.
Preheat the oven to 300°F.
In an oven-safe pan, turn on the stove to high heat, and pour in the olive oil.
Sear the brisket on all sides.
Put the pan with the brisket in the oven and let cook until preferred temperature (we like medium-rare!).
Take out the bison and wrap it in foil for 5-10 minutes before serving.
